Mom Update for Sunday

Things couldn't be much better.

The ventilator is gone, as is the nasal tube. She's awake and sitting up, and is coherent, although little confused about how long it's been since the operation. Her kidneys are fine, her blood pressure is fine, and her lungs are clearing up nicely.

ahh, that's just Steve's way of saying he misses me.

And PHD is alive, but I've had to change focus from publishing fiction to technical writing and industrial training, mainly because I wanted to keep eating and such.
