Hurricane Forecast for 2007

From NOA Weather Agency:

Emergency Dispatch to all wre services.

There will be 47 named storms next season consisting of 38 hurricanes, 12 of which will be Catagory 5. All 47 storms will take direct aim at New Orleans.

This forecast will be revised as necessary to conform with reality, but for now, we just want to scare the pants off everybody.

Their sensational coverage of tropical storm Ernesto has been utterly rediculous. I am in Key West right now and what have we gotten? A drizzling rain. No floods, no wind, and no nothing. It seems like it has been worth it to continue to disallow tourists to come in. The service industry has only suffered from this mess...

IF THE ICE CAPS ARE MELTING AND THE OCEAN WATER TEMP IS GETTING COLDER DOESN'T THAT MEAN A REDUCED NUMBER OF HURRICAINES?
