So, I still haven't made up my mind who to vote for in the Senate race, but I know it won't be Bob "My opponents are slime, but I won't stoop to calling them names" Corker.
That guy embodies everything I find repulsive in politicians.
Right now, I'm leaning towards Ed Bryant, but the margin is very slim.
I heard something kinda stupid on the radio today. I think it was Boortz, but I'm not sure. A caller was upset because there's a chance that Republicans will lose control of the House in November. Boortz, or whoever it was, contended that losing the House would actually be a good thing, because the Republicans currently in the House spent too much money, and should be punished.
So, if I hire a guy to do a job for $100, and he spends $120, according to Boortz, I should fire him in favor of the guy who will do the same job for $150.
My grandmother would call that cutting off your nose to spite your face.
I call it just plain stupid.
