Quick comments
Busy day, but there are a few things I want to note before I forget.
- Peach Bowl. The game was bad enough, but what caught my eye was a Chick-fil-a commercial. In it, a cow stands in front of a line of bulldozers a la Tiananmen Square in an attempt to prevent the building of a burger joint. An historic stand for freedom has been turned into a pitch for a fast food restaurant. America, you're beautiful!
- Steve Irwin feeds a croc while holding his baby and outrages the world. More babies are killed in car wrecks in a day than are eaten by crocs in a decade. Damn drivers!
- Britney Spears gets married as a publicity stunt. I guess Madonna wasn't enough.
- Martha Stewart is going to trial for selling stock when her broker told her to. For shame!
- One woman claims to have lost the $162 million dollar lottery ticket that another woman has just turned in. Trial lawyers just hit the jackpot. These two ladies will be lucky if after the trial they each get enough for the cab ride home.

Luckily, the trial lawyers won't be getting in on this gals lotto winnings. And, our little miss liar will be facing charges of filing a false police report. Not nearly as good as going to jail but all we can get in this day and age. I'm sure it will be a puny fine at best, but atleast now that she's been highly publisized she'll have to put her next scam on the back burner for a while.
