Polling data Predicts Trouble for Dems

The latest AP poll shows a staunch support for President Bush from a surprising source.

Republicans shifted from 83 percent with a favorable view of Bush personally to 94 percent. Democrats moved from 46 percent to 55 percent.

Yep, by this poll, a majority of Democrats have a favorable impression of the President which exceeds the margin of error of 3%.

This can't be good news for the fringe left. When a solid majority of you constituency approves of your opponent, you know your election hopes are slim, unless the small, loud, minority of Bush Haters actually represents the average Dem voter. Dean is carrying the extreme left of the party, but it appears that President Bush is capturing the middle.

hat tip to Bill Hobbs
